STARGUY IV is a roguelike created in 7 days for 7DRL 2021.
Travel through 3 STRANGE WORLDS battling 20 UNIQUE ENEMIES - but you'll need all the help you can get with a variety of GUNS, SKILLS, and PASSIVES.

Won in 4811 moves. Fun game :) Could have used a boss, but having an ending at all is a bonus in a 7DRL, and a unique last level with a end cutscene is more than I can really ask for. Very well done! I especially like the multi-tile enemies.
There are few games out there I'd call perfect but this is definitely one of them.
This is I think my favorite roguelike. The visual design paired with the mechanical simplicity on first blush is easy as hell to get into and even easier to keep playing. I really like how many of the upgrades and powers play into each other in interesting ways, and all the guns feel unique.
I could probably say more given more time but I feel like the bottom line is this game is extremely fun and feels especially skillfully designed and I really like that! Good job!
This game became a part of my morning ritual. I've played it so many times and it never gets old. I love the art style and the soundtrack just fits perfectly -- can't believe you made it in a week. Amazing!
love this game so much, has a great replay value to it, and the art style is so unique, and it works well with the tile based environment. one of my new favorite games to play.

Hiii, I've made a video about the game and wanted to share some feedback with you :), hopefully it is useful to you :D
-The main idea of the game is very good and the game is actually very polished for the amount of time spent on the development :D.
-Visually the game is pretty original and is really good, it gives the game personality.
-The gameplay mechanics are very awesome and, as the difficulty is balanced, the player can get into them pretty easily. The only thing I think that could be improved is the way you can purchase some perks with levels, as it should be a little bit more simple visually speaking.
